Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Ask, We've Already Wondered.

Health and wellness can get complicated quickly. Pareto Life exists to make it easier to understand what matters, what may be worth considering, and where a particular supplement, habit, or health decision fits into the bigger picture.

About Pareto Life

The Philosophy, Explained

Pareto Life is a health and wellness philosophy built around a simple question: how much does it actually matter?

There is no shortage of advice about what to eat, what supplements to take, which numbers to track, or what new health trend deserves your attention. Pareto Life helps put those decisions into context so you can focus on the few things most likely to make a meaningful difference.

The Pareto Principle is often described as the 80/20 rule: a relatively small number of inputs can be responsible for a large portion of the results.

Applied to health, that means not every decision deserves equal attention. Instead of trying to optimize everything, Pareto Life looks for the habits, interventions, and decisions that are most likely to move the needle based on your goal.

We start with the goal. What are you actually trying to accomplish?

From there, we look at the available evidence, potential benefits, potential risks, and the magnitude of the expected impact. Then we put that intervention into context.

For example, a supplement may have promising research behind it. But how much is it likely to help compared with improving sleep, nutrition, exercise, or addressing a known deficiency?

That context is an important part of the Pareto Method.

Pareto Life was founded by physician Emil Kheterpal, MD, and is built around an evidence-informed approach to health and wellness.

We look at research, weigh the quality and practical significance of the evidence, and explain what it means in clear language.

The goal isn’t to chase trends or tell you to do more. It’s to help you see what deserves your attention first, and which few habits make the biggest difference.

About Our Supplements

The Essential, Explained

The Essential was created to provide a simple foundation for people who want to cover important nutritional bases without building an unnecessarily complicated supplement routine.

But it is still just that: a foundation. Pareto Life does not believe a multivitamin replaces good nutrition, exercise, sleep, appropriate medical care, or other lifestyle fundamentals. Supplements are tools, not solutions.

Yes. Every ingredient and dose is listed on the product page — nothing is hidden behind a “proprietary blend” or vague label. That’s on purpose: transparency builds trust.

Formulation involves tradeoffs. Rather than designing the product around the smallest possible pill count, The Essential was designed around what belongs in the formula and how best to deliver it.

Two pills allow us to prioritize the formula itself rather than letting convenience make every formulation decision. (Team is still finalizing whether this will be two or three pills — copy will be confirmed before launch.)

Gummies can be convenient, but convenience was not our only consideration. The format of The Essential was chosen to support the integrity of the formula rather than designing the formula around what can fit into a gummy.

Our approach is simple: start with what matters, then determine the best way to deliver it.

Because we don’t believe more is automatically better. There are supplements that may make sense for certain people, goals, diets, or deficiencies. That does not mean everyone needs them.

Pareto Life is about understanding where an intervention fits before adding it to your routine. Our goal is not to build the biggest supplement cabinet. It is to help you make better decisions about what deserves a place in yours.

Talking about a supplement does not mean we need to sell it. Some products are widely available, easy to obtain from reputable sources, or only appropriate depending on an individual’s goals and circumstances.

Our educational content is designed to help you understand the evidence and decide what may be relevant to you. We don’t need to manufacture a Pareto Life version of everything we discuss.

Research & Medical Information

Where the Information Comes From

No. Pareto Life provides general educational information about health, wellness, nutrition, supplements, exercise, and related topics.

It is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your healthcare provider.

Pareto Life’s approach is physician-informed and guided by founder Emil Kheterpal, MD.

As the Research Library grows, articles will clearly identify authors and medical reviewers when appropriate so you can understand who is behind the information you’re reading.

We look to scientific research and credible medical and health sources rather than relying on trends, testimonials, or popularity alone.

Just as importantly, we look at research in context. A statistically significant result does not automatically mean something will have a meaningful impact on your health.

Our goal is to help explain not only what a study found, but how much that finding may actually matter.

Health research evolves, and our thinking should be willing to evolve with it.

Educational content may be reviewed and updated as new evidence becomes available. Where appropriate, articles will include publication and review dates so you can see when information was last evaluated.
